Chad Carlton is a strategic thinker, a polished writer and a respected communications adviser to strong leaders including business executives, elected officials, executive directors and entrepreneurs.
Since founding C2 Strategic Communications in January 2011, Chad has focused on helping clients tell their stories and propelling positive community change. Under his leadership, C2 Strategic has grown from a one-person consultancy to an award-winning team of more than two dozen professionals and a regional firm with offices in Louisville, Lexington and Indianapolis.
Chad’s experience includes serving as communications director and cabinet member for Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson, a leader of Doe-Anderson’s public affairs team and government and political reporter for the Lexington Herald-Leader. However, his informal communications training began as a teenager listening to story tellers in his father’s country barber shop in Anderson County.
