The Challenge
PetFirst Pet Insurance is a rapidly growing company in an underappreciated sector – insurance for pets. Not enough people are aware of the advantages of pet insurance. They wanted to raise their profile both for workforce recruitment and to spread understanding of the value of pet insurance.
The Solution
C2 Strategic worked with PetFirst on a content-forward approach to media relations. We used surveys of their own members and surveys of existing data to tell stories that captured the attention of pet owners. We successfully pitched stories on a local, regional and national basis, provided guest articles for pet blogs and HR publications.
The Results
C2 helped place stories in USA Today, The Washington Post, People.com and petcentric online sources such as Doggington Post.
