Veteran Indiana communicator joins C2 Strategic’s Indianapolis office

INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 14, 2019) – We are pleased to announce that Will Wingfield, a seasoned communicator for the State of Indiana, will join C2 Strategic Communications as a senior strategist in our new Indianapolis office on Aug. 19.

Will has spent the past 14 years promoting safety, mobility and economic development in Indiana. After 12 years as a communications leader for the Indiana Department of Transportation, Will worked for the past two years as communications director for the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and the Governor’s Highway Safety Office. He was trusted to represent state transportation leaders and serve on project teams that improved Indiana’s infrastructure ratings and delivered transformational interstate and bridge projects, including the bi-state Ohio River Bridges.

As a former newspaper journalist, Will sheds light on today’s complex challenges by elevating public dialogue. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Wake Forest University.

Will joins the growing team at C2 Strategic Communications, a Louisville-based public relations and marketing firm that focuses on community-building clients throughout the region including the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Indiana Department of Transportation, WellCare, Omni Louisville Hotel, Messer Construction Co. and Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky.
