Creative capacity, capabilities grow with the addition of three C2 Strategic new hires

C2 Strategic Communications continues to grow its Louisville-based team with the addition of Cory McCauley, Brooke Griffiths and Alyssa De Jesus.

Cory McCauley joins C2 Strategic as a staff strategist. McCauley is a trusted journalist, whose career led him to the mountains of Eastern Kentucky as a reporter for WYMT-TV, and later to South Central Kentucky as a reporter for WBKO-TV. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in broadcast journalism. McCauley’s experience in newsrooms across the state will prove beneficial to helping C2 Strategic’s existing and future clients.

“I’m excited for this opportunity to apply the skills I’ve learned through journalism and continue telling stories celebrating the hard work of those across Kentucky and Indiana,” said McCauley. “I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact C2 Strategics’ clients have on communities, and I’m thrilled to be part of the team!”

C2 Strategic is also growing its creative capabilities through two new additions to its graphic design team.

Brooke Griffiths joins C2 Strategic as a graphic designer. Griffiths is a talented artist, who brings two decades of experience in communications and design to C2. She spent 11 years as a design editor at Louisville Business First, later spent seven years as a design editor at VYPE Magazine and went on to run her own design business. Griffiths’ previous design work ranges from Kentucky-based nonprofits to Manhattan commercial real estate firms. She even directed the design for a project for His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

“I’m excited about working with so many former news folks,” said Griffiths. “I’ve long been a huge fan of C2 and being one of the gang is going to be fantastic!”

Alyssa De Jesus joins C2 Strategic as a graphic design intern. De Jesus, a graduate of Jeffersontown High School, is currently a sophomore at the University of Louisville where she is majoring in graphic design. As an intern, De Jesus will create mockups for case studies and social graphics for multiple clients. Before joining C2 Strategic as an intern, De Jesus began professional graphic design work through commissioned pieces. That initiative paired with her drive to improve her skills landed her the opportunity to grow at C2.

“What’s great about being at C2 is that it is full of hardworking people,” said De Jesus. “I see that as a motivation to do better or to work my hardest.”
