Jenny Recktenwald is a veteran communications professional with a successful track record of building organizations and programs from the ground up and leading through organizational change.
In her hands-on approach with C2 Strategic Communications clients, she’s working to promote the Louisville Orchestra’s statewide “In Harmony” tour, helping Stock Yards Bank elevate its stature as the region’s leading community bank, and supporting the successful arrival of the BlueOval SK electric battery plant—the largest economic development project in Kentucky’s history.
Before joining C2, Jenny served as director of marketing and communications for the Transit Authority of River City (TARC), where she helped rebuild public trust after a leadership crisis. In addition to communications roles in human services, government, and healthcare tech, she also spent time as a solo consultant offering media relations, branding, and fundraising services to dozens of corporate and nonprofit clients. She co-founded and served as Interim Director of OneWest, a community development corporation focused on economic revitalization in west Louisville.
A Louisville native, Jenny has found great fulfillment in serving her community, including board roles with Kentucky Refugee Ministries, New Direction Housing Corporation, and the Republic Bank Foundation YMCA, and as a two-time Leadership Louisville Bingham Fellow.
