Brenna is an award-winning communicator with a talent for creative and compelling storytelling that resonates with audiences. 

As a senior strategist for the transportation sector, Brenna leads C2 Strategic Communications’ Lexington office, managing communications for transformational projects across Kentucky. Her portfolio includes the widening and expansion of the Mountain Parkway in Eastern Kentucky and the innovative, statewide Bridging Kentucky program. With a broad range of experience, Brenna helps infrastructure projects succeed through clear and effective communication.

Prior to joining C2, Brenna spent five years as the public information officer for the Lexington Police Department, leading communications during a critical time. She’s an Emmy® Award winner for a public service announcement she produced, and her work has been recognized by Government Social Media, a national professional association. Brenna served as deputy communications director for former Lexington Mayor Jim Gray, spent several years as a radio news reporter and was an adjunct instructor at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

With two young kids to keep up with, Brenna has fully embraced the soccer-mom, mini-van lifestyle. She enjoys hunting for deals at thrift stores and the local peddler’s mall.
