C2 Strategic adds staff strategist Rachel Nix

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 24, 2019) – C2 Strategic Communications, one of the region’s top PR and marketing firms, continues to grow its team of communications professionals with the addition of staff strategist Rachel Nix.

Nix joins C2 Strategic’s Louisville office serving local, regional and national clients in government, transportation, infrastructure, economic development, health care and hospitality.

Like most of C2 Strategic’s team, Nix has a background in journalism and extensive experience in strategic marketing and media relations. The Muncie, Ind. native and Ball State University graduate worked at the Courier-Journal and WHAS-TV before transitioning into public relations in 2012.

Her passion for thoughtful storytelling has helped numerous clients in bourbon, restaurant, retail, tourism, hospitality, transportation and nonprofit sectors reach their customers and clients. Nix will bring creative thinking, insightful content strategy and digital marketing savvy to her role as staff strategist. She is a Certified Louisville Tourism Ambassador and an Executive Bourbon Steward.

C2 Strategic, which has tripled in size in the past four years, recently opened a second office in Indianapolis, Ind. and has plans to relocate its Louisville headquarters to a larger space on Blankenbaker Parkway later this year. Community-building clients include the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Indiana Department of Transportation, Omni Louisville Hotel and Suites, WellCare, Messer Construction Co. and PetFirst Pet Insurance.
