Messer Construction Co. continues to put its mark on healthcare in Louisville, working with local partners such as Norton Healthcare Inc. and the University of Louisville to create more points of care across the community.

Several Messer projects began or reached new heights in recent weeks — milestones that illustrate how Messer and its partners are working to improve care for adult and pediatric¬† as well as emergency and cardiac treatments.

Here are a few highlights:

Norton to build $38M cancer institute in East End (Business First)

Officials and supporters of the new Norton Cancer Institute at Old Brownsboro Crossing wrote messages and left hand prints in a concrete feature that will be placed in the Healing Garden when the institute opens late next year.

$78M downtown medical office reaches construction milestone (Business First)


Dr. Toni Ganzel,, dean of the U of L School of Medicine, signed a beam that topped out the new Pediatric Medical Outpatient Building downtown. The building will house a variety of pediatric specialists.
