Over the past two years, Omni Hotels & Resorts has worked with C2 Strategic Communications to build excitement around the company’s new hotel in downtown Louisville. The success of that partnership made C2 a natural fit for Lincoln Property Group, property manager for the luxury apartment community in the Omni building. The Residences at Omni occupies the 16th through 29th floors of the building. All 225 units are now available for lease and the first residents will move in soon.

Last week, C2 and Lincoln gave the local media a sneak peak of what residents can expect living at the Omni. The event generated buzz through live Facebook and Twitter videos, as well as coverage on TV, radio and print publications.

Doug Taylor, Area Vice President for Lincoln Property Group, showed off the spectacular views from apartments — as well as amenities like a pool, lounge and fitness center separate from those for hotel guests. He told news outlets including Business First Louisville and WDRB News that apartments are being leased quickly. Apartment home size options at The Residences are a studio, one, two, three bedroom, or the penthouse.

Paul Franklin, one of the first people to sign a lease, was also on site for the event. “We are on the 21st floor, northeast corner,” Franklin told WAVE3 News. “If they would let me, I could hook up a zip line from our terrace right to the front door of the Yum! Center.” Even though such a zip line isn’t an option, Franklin was still drawn downtown because of access to highways and various amenities in the area.

C2 Strategic helps with strategic communication, event planning and public relations for both Lincoln Property Group and the Omni Hotel Louisville. We’re proud to help spread the word about exciting projects that illustrate the progress occurring in and around Louisville.
